About Sound Wave making equipment
It is a fascinating installation showcased by Google and artist Lachlan Turczan at Milan Design Week.
The exhibition invites guests to embark on a sensory journey, exploring the quality of water and our connection with this unpredictable intangible material. Sound, light, and water create a hypnotic relationship with each other, evoking an immersive audio-visual experience. Designboom walked into the exhibition and had a conversation with this lighting and sound artist, as well as Ivy Ross, Vice President of Google Hardware Design. He taught us how water, one of the most powerful compounds in nature, became the protagonist.
It is an immersive multisensory device that delves into our connection with water. These containers contain shallow water pools. As tourists hover around the bowl, the sweeping tones vibrate each basin at different frequencies, creating a unique wave pattern, with three basins aimed at interacting with human existence and evoking stronger wave arrangements near the audience.
